ABOUT
—
I am a New York City based Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who supports individuals, teens, and families. I have been trained in a variety of modalities, including CBT and AEDP, and practiced both in community mental health settings as well as private practice. I received my Master of Education in Counseling Psychology and my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College.
My role as a therapist and a human are deeply intertwined, as I pride myself on holding the nuance of the therapeutic relationship to create safety for my clients. I vow to always be real with you, even if it’s hard.
My practice is dedicated to creating a safe environment in which clients feel understood, respected, and free to explore the truth that exists inside. By providing unconditional warmth, care, transparency and honesty, clients are able to discover and experience themselves in new ways, never on the journey alone, which fosters positive change and creates deeper understanding, lasting acceptance, and increased fulfillment.
